Endtimes (WT)

Enviroment activists as well as independent scientists completely agree: The fossil ressources such as coal, oil or uranium wil be used up in less than 100 years. A general social re-thinking in terms of the use of renewable energies will in the end be unevitable...

Yet we either do not want or simply cannot imagine a world without fossile resources - no matter how many scientific studies or projects about the energy crisis are published every year most people just go on with their way of energy consumption.

Because of that in "Endtimes" we want to sensibilize the audience through a small and human story. We follow a coal delivery man on his last winter of providing coal briquettes to his last customers. We experience the disappering of more than just a resource - together with it also goes a whole way of life. Through this little story we get an impression what awaits us when it comes to an end of "our" resources...
