Der magische Umhang (The Magic Cape)

"The magic cape" tells the story of two children looking for their place in life all by themselves. This is a film about friendship, courage and self-confidence.

9-year-old Tamara has to wear an eye-patch and often gets bullied by the other children at school because of it. When one day Christian enters the classroom with his black cape, her classmates' mean attention - for once - turns away from her.

Tamara and Christian become friends. Christian tells her about his grandfather, who bestowed magical powers upon the cape. Tamara is hooked and desperately wants a magic talisman, too.

They set out on an adventurous journey to find Christian's grandfather. When they finally arrive, Tamara is disappointed by what she finds: To her, Christian's grandfather's magic is nothing more than hocus-pocus...
