Final wrap for ANA, MON AMOUR

It’s a wrap! Tonight we finished the shooting of ANA, MON AMOUR! We would like to thank the whole cast and crew for their impressive work these last 2 months. Now we are looking forward to the post production and the final result!

Shooting of MY HAPPY FAMILY begins

Today the shooting of MY HAPPY FAMILY started, our German-Georgian-French co-production directed by Nana Ekvtimishvili and Simon Gross. Their last film IN BLOOM was an incredible festival success and was also Georgia’s Oscars entry for the Best Foreign Film in 2014. MY HAPPY FAMILY is supported by Film- und Medienstiftung NRW, BKM, Eurimages, DFFF and ZDF - Das kleine Fernsehspiel amongst others. We are looking forward to some exciting weeks in Tbilisi!

MY HAPPY FAMILY is the story of 52-year-old Manana who is caught up in a conflict between her family life and her personal freedom: an adult woman and mother who decides to break free of the rigid family structure and finally start living her own life…

Apprentice is going to Cannes!

We are proud and happy to announce that our Singaporean Co-production APPRENTICE by Boo Junfeng will have its World Premiere in the Official Selection at Cannes Festival (Un Certain Regard)!

Congrats to Boo Junfeng! And our thanks to the cast and team and to all our partners who supported the film. We are looking forward to a great night at the Croisette!

APPRENTICE is a story about Aiman, a 28-year-old correctional officer, who is transferred to the territory’s top prison. He strikes up a friendship with Rahim, who is revealed to be the chief executioner of the prison, and also one of the world’s most prolific. Can Aiman overcome his conscience and a past that haunts him to become the executioner’s apprentice?

FFHSH funds MONSTER

We’re happy to announce that our feature film project MONSTER by Kerstin Polte has been funded by the Filmförderung Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein. This family road movie features, amongst others, Corinna Harfouch, Meret Becker, and Sabine Timoteo. Shooting will start mid July on the coast in Schleswig-Holstein and in NRW.
