MY BROTHERS KEEPER - world premiere at 64th Berlinale

Big news mark the start of 2014! Our recent feature HÜTER MEINES BRUDERS | MY BROTHER'S KEEPER will be premiered at the 64th Berlinale. Maximilian Leo's debut will open the Perspektive Deutsches Kino section. 

The film was produced with the support of Sixpack, a project that promotes the work of talented new filmmakers. Sixpack is jointly supported by broadcaster WDR and Film- und Medienstiftung NRW.

MY BROTHER'S KEEPER centers on Gregor and his younger brother Pietschi. On a sailing trip, Pietschi disappears without trace. As Gregor tries to find out more about his brother’s life, he begins to realize how little he actually knows about his own life.

WHO IS THOMAS MUELLER? goes Saarbruecken

We are happy to announce that our transmedia documentary WHO IS THOMAS MUELLER? will be shown at the 35th Filmfest Max Ophuels Award's section "Spektrum" in Saarbruecken. The screenings are taking place on January 24th and 25th 2014, at 9 pm.

TOUR DU FASO - first screening in NRW

Our documentary TOUR DU FASO about Africa's major cycling race is going to be shown at the 16th "Stranger than Fiction Filmfest" in Cologne and Bochum, NRW. The screenings are taking place at Filmforum, Museum Ludwig in Cologne on January 26th 2014 at 6pm , as well as in the "endstation" movie theatre in Bochum on January 31st 2014 at 7 pm. Director Wilm Huygen is attending both screenings.

BECAUSE I WAS A PAINTER - world premiere in Rome

BECAUSE I WAS A PAINTER – SURVIVOR ART FROM THE NAZI CAMPS (former title THE BEAUTY) will be premiered at the Rome Film Festival in the competition of cinema XXI.

Our French-German coproduction is about artworks produced secretely and under high danger by prisoners of the concentration camps. More than 30,000 unknown works of art full of tragic beauty. Director Christophe Cognet has created a film, which will leave the audience deeply touched.

Shooting starts for MONEY

The shooting of our documentary MONEY starts this week. The film is a collaboration with ZDF - Kleines Fernsehspiel and ARTE. In MONEY director Philipp Enders is going on an interesting and funny trip through time and space. The film wants to give back the viewers some faith in financial affairs, 'cause "money makes the world go around"!

TOUR DU FASO on festival tour

We are happy that our documentary TOUR DU FASO by Wilm Huygen is on its German festival tour this fall and winter.

The film will be screened in the competition of the 35th Biberacher Filmfestspiele on Wednesday, October 30th, at 11 pm and on Thursday, October 31st at 5.20 pm. In November the film will be shown at the 30th Kassler Dokfest on Saturday, November 16th at 5.15 pm. In January it can be seen for the first time in Cologne at the Stranger Than Fiction Doc Festival.

WHO IS THOMAS MÜLLER? in Zurich and at the Cologne Conference

WHO IS THOMAS MÜLLER? will have its world premiere in the competition of the Zurich Film Festival. We are very happy that Christian Heynen's film is in the German speaking competition for the "golden eye".

And WHO IS THOMAS MÜLLER? can be seen at the Cologne Conference. The showcase of "young docs from NRW" will present our transmedia project at October 2nd in the Astor Film Lounge.

KID wins in Aubagne and is nominated 6 times for the ensors

KID is continuing its successful festival career. After winning in Aubagne the grand jury award and the award for best music it is now nominated 6 (!!!) times for the Ensor - the Flemish film award.

We coproduced KID with the Belgian production company Prime Time and the Dutch N279 Entertainment. It is the third feature film by Fien Troch.
