MOTHER MARY Celebrates New York Premiere

MOTHER MARY, starring Anne Hathaway and Michaela Coel, celebrated its premiere in New York on April 13th, ahead of its theatrical release the following week.

Long-buried wounds rise to the surface when iconic pop star Mother Mary reunites with her estranged best friend and former costume designer, Sam Anselm, on the eve of her comeback performance.

Written and directed by David Lowery (A GHOST STORY, THE GREEN KNIGHT), MOTHER MARY stars Anne Hathaway and Michaela Coel, alongside Hunter Schafer, FKA Twigs, Kaia Gerber, Jessica Brown Findlay, Alba Baptista, and Sian Clifford. FKA Twigs contributed original songs to the soundtrack alongside Jack Antonoff and Charli XCX. Hathaway, Coel, and Twigs walked the red carpet at the New York premiere.

MOTHER MARY is produced by  A24, in association with Topic, Access Entertainment & IPR.VC, Sailor Bear Entertainment, Homebird Productions, and augenschein FilmproduktionA24 will release  the film in U.S. theaters on April 17th.
